Edible Audible Picnic Strikes Again: El Guincho
Just went down to Millenium Park for Edible Audible Picnic and saw El Guincho. They are a two man act from Barcelona and play Latin-esque music by sampling. One guy plays the guitar, the other mixes and samples all of the music, and they both sing. Its some really unique stuff and an interesting example of inventive genre-fusion. It is self decscribed as "space-age exotica." Whatever that means, I like it regardless.
