Sleigh Bells is a band like no other. I've never encountered a band that could juxtapose sheer, unadulterated rock with pure, beautiful vocals as seamlessly as they do. The contrast is incredibly exciting, they will definitely keep you guessing and wishing for more. Songs like "Tell Em" and "Kids" are like fantastic energy shots- the energy is there but it isn't naseau inducing. On their album, "Treats," my two favorites are actually their chiller songs, "Run the Heart" and "Rill Rill." Run the Heart is the first song I heard by Sleigh Bells (in the form of the Bassnectar remix). It doesn't have the contrasts of sounds that many of the other songs do, but the song is driven by the rythmic ahh-ing of the lead singer and it is unique. The Bassnectar remix is also below and it will have you krumping all day.
