Gig Pub Discoveries

Last night I went to this awesome gig pub in Camden called Flowerpot. Everyone there was dressed in crazy vintage and rock n roll attire and had two goals: to rock out and get fucked up. As the lead singer of the first band (who was strung out on some sort of intense drugs) said, "My motto is to Get Amazing and Get Pissed." It was a cool place to spend the night. And the best part was that I found two awesome bands.

My favorite band of the night was this band out of Brighton called The Valentines. Their music reminds me of The Strokes. Their show was filled with energy and by the end, the crowd broke out into a psuedo-mosh dance mess. Unfortunately, I am having trouble finding a way to post the music on this site. Does She Make Noise (DEMO) by The Valentines



Another quality band from that night was The Munroes. They had a refreshing 60's rock sound and feel. At first I thought the bassist was Russell Brand because they look fuckin similar. Check out Rainbow Sun below and for more go to their Myspace.
