So, there's a ton of epic music and news surrounding Pretty Lights that I've meaning to write about for a bit, so here we go.
UNRELEASED 2010 REMIXES
Last week, Pretty Lights released a mixtape "Unreleased 2010 Remixes" that is unbelievably amazing. First song one the mixtape is a remix of the classic Chicago Bulls introduction music which turns it into quite the raver and it is the perfect way to start off the mix. Next is a trippy remix of Pink Floyd's "Time" that when it hits, will put you into another world. As soon as the drop hits you'll know what I'm talking about. Also on the tape, is a remix of All of The Lights, Empire State of Mind, and Steve Miller Band's Fly Like An Eagle. Like all Pretty Lights music its all free and you can download it at prettylightsmusic.com.

PRETTY LIGHTS MUSIC RECORD LABEL
In late January, Pretty Lights announced the creation of their own record label. This is extremely exciting news because there is definitely not enough quality, chill and trippy electronic music out there and Pretty Lights music will certainly deliver some awesome music. I also really like their philosophy of supplying all of the music free. I think that in the future all music will be free and all artists will make their money by performing live. So far there are three releases on the record label and each one of them are awesome in their own unique way.
BREAK SCIENCE
Further Than Our Eyes Can See
Break Science has some really chill, dub influenced trip hop that is awesome to sit back and listen to its jazzy grooves. He has a few rapper cameos including one from Talib Kweli. Break Science is probably my favorite artist on PLM so far.
Break Science - The Alliance (feat. Talib Kweli) by SizeMcMusicProductions PAPER DIAMONDS
Levitate
This release is full of super spacy, synth heavy tunes that at times can melt into your mind. It reminds me a lot of Flying Lotus but not as bizarre.
MICHAEL MENERT
Dreaming of a Bigger Life
Michael Menert sounds most closely to Pretty Lights of any of these other artists except that he is more influenced by random Eastern European music and very chill-jazzy. Its pretty legit stuff.
