Deadmau5 @ Soldier Field Review

Deadmau5 at Soldier Field. That's all I really have to say--it  pretty much speaks for itself.
Nevertheless, I will divulge. Amazing, just amazing. Deadmau5's new cube stage set up is unreal. It adds so much to the visuals and the energetic production of the show. It can go from being a surreal space scene to projecting a seismic seizure-inducing fever of light in a second. Cooler yet, his various masks light up and he changes them to go with the lights- trippy.
Of course, it wasn't only about the lights, the music was also dank. Impressively, he was able to seamlessly integrate many of his songs together. This is no easy task especially when you consider how ecletic his music is. At one point he faded the trancesque "I Remember" into the headbanger "FML" and he did it pretty seamlessly too. With Deadmau5's wide range of great beats, he had a lot of room to mix and match to get the crowd going.
Speaking of the crowd--What do you get when you take Chicago ravers and put them into an outdoor Deadmau5 rave? INSANITY. It was a pretty wild crowd and no one stopped moving the entire concert. I don't think many people were disapointed with this show. Below are some videos I took of the show and you can get them all here.
